Intro

Technology has always been, and will always be, an inconsistent variable in the world. An everyday wildcard that can make and break the flow of our day. Everything we know as far as accessibility and functionality can be turned upside down at a moments notice with something as simple as clicking on a button that reads, "Update."

We should feel good about clicking that button. We should be hopeful, knowing that this update will better our overall lives and experiences. Why else would they call it an update, right? The word update, literally, means to bring something up to date or to make something better.

We all know better than that. In the I.T. world, the word update, can mean a great many things. For those who don't eat and sleep tech, this usually means a day of focusing on something that steals from our daily goals, whether that be personal or business.

Yes, I mean "we" call support. Even "techies" will need to call tech support for something or another. No matter how much an I.T. support agent may know there are ten times as many things that they don't. We are all human, and we all need help from time to time.

Founder, Jesse Stevens, was an automotive mechanic for nearly 20 years. The last decade of this time was spent prioritizing diagnostics and outside of  the box resolutions. Those 10 years consisted of computer based diagnostics for things like engines, multiplexing systems, and communications systems. 

During his time as a automotive contractor he became well versed in things like Microsoft Office and Exchange based email. Out of curiosity and pure love for the unknown he learned to manage Linux and Windows based servers, domain DNS systems, and many other aspects of internet technology to help increase his own productivity. Different industries, different machines, but the very same premise—Break down what's broken to its pieces and put it back together until it works.

After departing from the wrench to spend more time with his young children and wife, he took on a role as a support agent at a large tech company. He spent awkward weekend hours getting to know customers and their industries. He helped them find the solutions that would allow them to be more in control of their services than simply relying on the system that built it to support them. He was making a difference one individual at a time and he loved it. The best part was the most energizing interactions spent little to no money at all.

Alpha Wolf I.T. Solutions was created to help with the widening disparage that happens when I.T. companies create a valuable product solution and rely on inbound calls for support to leverage new or upgraded products. They will tote how their customer support is a shining beacon of glory and hope. That is if you are even working with a company that provides support at all.

The sad reality is generic support agents with lacking knowledge and skill are a consistent and frustrating hump that must be overcome. These agents are generally low paid, commission based to compensate, and overloaded with tools for things that they may not be well versed with, let alone be qualified to operate properly. As well, these agents are usually never armed with the proper tools that would make them useful or helpful beyond generic self help articles provided by these companies.

Often, people and companies who are looking to utilize their provided services are left high and dry with no idea of which way to turn when they are hit with the resounding, "Sorry we don't support that. You will have to reach out to an I.T. expert to help."

This leaves people dazed and confused as they thought the I.T. company who sold them their internet services are, in fact,  the professionals. In general, if it is not a first party product you are purchasing, you are going to find help hard to locate, time consuming to contact, or all out nonexistent.

Customer service for the longest time has been proven time and time again to be of the utmost importance to those looking to purchase any type of product. It is an art that hasn't been lost, but mostly forgotten to the hub bub of an ever evolving world that will wait for no one.

When the company began shifting pay scales, hours of employment and forcing scripts to be used, Jesse saw the writing on the wall. Personality and human nature were walking out the door for paid solutions that provided more headache than resolution. In a world where everything is in the details and not every problem can be resolved with money, this settled with a resounding weight.

Alpha Wolf I.T. Solutions was born out of the want to to do right by those who were lost to the technology tidal wave of the new millennium. Jesse was left with a drive and need to feel righteous and proud by standing by good old fashioned hard work and honesty.
